Fantastic Pool Experience

I was truly impressed with the large indoor heated pool. It’s ideal for kids at only 1 meter deep and so well-maintained! It was a daily highlight of our stay, and it made the kids so happy. We managed to enjoy a relaxing swim every day of our trip, creating wonderful family memories.

Delicious On-Site Meals

The dining at the Red Lion restaurant was excellent! We enjoyed breakfast delivered to our room, which was not only delicious but also piping hot. The avocado and tomato on toast with feta and egg was fresh and fulfilling. It was so convenient having such fantastic dining options right on-site.

Immaculate & Comfortable Rooms

Our Executive Family Room was spotless and incredibly spacious. The amenities such as the comfortable queen bed and relaxing spa bath made our stay feel special. I was particularly impressed with how clean the room was, which truly exceeded my expectations for a motel.

Fun & Safe Play Areas

My stay was exceptional! The hotel offered spacious and clean rooms, a beautiful heated pool, and a great range of facilities. The attached restaurant made dining convenient, and the service was prompt and accommodating. However, the location being down back streets did raise some initial concerns, and the decor felt a bit dated.

This hotel has a great location, making it easy to access meals and amenities nearby. The room was comfortable and warm, which was perfect for the cold winter nights in Ballarat. However, noise from the room above us was quite bothersome, impacting our sleep. While the room was clean and tidy, the mattress could definitely use some improvement. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the noise issues definitely need addressing.
